Mohammad Iqbal
Mohammad Iqbal I was born in Peshawar, Pakistan where art was suppressed. I am a self-taught artist that is inspired by the oil palette of intense colors. I am told that my art is prolific and abstract and I do enjoy the west coast sunsets. You will see the sunsets that I have been inspired to paint with the colors of my mind. As music is a part of my being I also will paint to the tunes that put me in the creative mood and will paint the forms of guitars. I enjoy the canvas where I can create freely with wherever my hand goes with paint on the brush, palette knife, finger and even rope. An Architect by trained profession, I incorporate the structures in some of my newer works. I hope you enjoy the places that you allow your emotions to take you while viewing my paintings. For me Art is the Poetry that translates itself as the interpretation that forms textures shapes colors and feelings, The Canvas is my book, The Colors are the words and the Shapes are the Characters of the story. |
