Mychal Arata is an assemblage artist using primarily origami. She uses folded paper to create larger works. Drawing her inspiration from the California coast, she created a wearable origami dress, modeled at The Museum of Ventura County, and later exhibited at Lotus Land in Santa Barbara. She also folded hundreds of pieces assembled into a meadow installation for Artwalk 2017. You can find her exhibiting with the collective, "Off The Wall Artists," for 2023 Artwalk Ventura.
