Kelly Bell - Watercolor paintings and driftwood wreaths

​At a young age, Kelly Bell’s mother encouraged her creativity by teaching her to knit, sew, draw, and create art from whatever was lying around her house, yard, or on the beach.  Now, Kelly enjoys watercolor and loves capturing landscapes, flowers, beach scenes, and other subjects that inspire and bring joy.  While at the beach, Kelly collects driftwood and other “treasures from the sand” and creates wreaths adorned with seashells and sea glass.

The Visit Ventura gift shop offers a wide selection of Ventura-branded apparel, coastal-inspired gifts, and locally crafted artwork. Shoppers will find pieces by artists including Laura Jespersen, Gerry Wilson, Dennis Morton and Kelly Bell, among other treasures.

Each year, Visit Ventura's Inspiration Guide also highlights unique cover art. This year's edition features a bold 60s-style design by artist Laura Greenan that pays homage to Ventura's rich, playful, oftentimes retro-feeling spirit. ​
