Featured Artist: Eco Shumaker

Eco Shumaker is a Ventura-based ceramic artist who creates small-batch, handcrafted pottery designed to be both beautiful and functional. Her work combines everyday usefulness with playful artistic expression, often featuring sgraffito techniques, hand-drawn imagery, and distinctive surface designs that make each piece unique.
A familiar presence in Ventura's arts community, Eco regularly exhibits at local events throughout Ventura and Ojai, including ArtWalk Ventura, where her work has been featured at venues such as Mission Park and the Bell Arts Factory. She has also exhibited at the Ventura Pottery Gallery in Ventura Harbor.
Inspired by the intersection of art and daily life, Eco's ceramics are crafted to bring creativity, warmth, and personality into the home while celebrating the handmade tradition.

About the Venue

We’re a casual urban-euro cafe in downtown Ventura with
wifi, locally roasted coffee and loose tea, 18 flavors of gelato, gourmet chocolates and truffles, locally baked pastries and desserts, and a gift boutique with unique, hard-to-find items.
