About the VenueOrmachea Jewelry is a generational jewelry shop that features the handmade work of Hugo Ormachea and his family. While the artisanal goldsmithing is the focus of the shop, the entire family has artistic outlets that are always on display in more ways than one. Rodrigo, who is Hugo's youngest son, is also a ceramic sculptor whose own son, Sumaq, also works with clay. We are featuring a new body of work that incorporates Sumaq's sculptures into Rodrigo's forms and vessels, continuing the tradition of generational practice at Ormachea.
