Criteria ArtWalk strives to present the best selection of area artists. This is a juried event.We are looking for original works of gallery-quality art and uniquely crafted items that exemplify the incredible diversity of talent that this longtime event is known for. No food, mass-produced or commercial goods are allowed. Exhibitors will be selected based on a number of artistic attributes such as originality, creativity, and technical mastery. Only authentic, professional-quality jewelry, please. Please submit three photographs of your work along with links to your website and social media accounts. We will let you know within two weeks of your status. Please pay the appropriate fee after you’ve been notified of your acceptance. Register early as space is limited.
Exhibitor Fees • Participating artists have the option to display both days for $150, or Sunday only for $100. • Each registered artist will be promoted on the ArtWalk website. • Your fee includes a 10x10 space. Artists may apply together and share a space. • All fees go directly to promotional and operational costs for the event. ArtWalk Ventura is now run by an all-volunteer committee and not the city.
Exhibitor Locations Placement will be in Mission Park on Saturday and Sunday or on the street in front of Mission Park Sunday only. (The Ventura Farmers Market occupies the street on Saturday.) You can also sign up to be placed on a list for venues looking for artists, but placement is not guaranteed. In this case, the venues pay the fees. Note: If you are an artist already affiliated with another venue, you do not need to sign up here but with your venue.
Our musical entertainment this year will be on the grounds of the nearby Albinger Archeological Museum and on the stage at California and Main, not in the park. This will allow us to accommodate more vendors.
Overnight security and fencing will be provided in Mission Park.
Set-up • You will need to bring your own set-up, including a 10x10 E-Z Up canopy, tables, easels, and/or grid walls. Your booth and display must be constructed to withstand crowds, sun, and wind. Exhibitors should be prepared for inclement weather. • Tables must be covered and tablecloths draped to the ground so that no boxes or other items being stored under the table are visible. Please create a clean look for your display. • If you need assistance, we will have helpers onsite to help you carry heavy things and set up your tent.
Promotion ArtWalk Ventura provides a platform for our artists, and we will do our best to promote you on social media. As an exhibiting artist, you should do all you can to market your work and the event to your followers and make yourself known.
