2024 ArtWalk Ventura Artist Application Dates: September 21 and 22, 2024 Times: Saturday 12:00pm-5:00pm • Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm *Please carefully read the following information before submitting your application.
Criteria This is a curated fine arts event, open to artists creating original works of gallery-quality art and uniquely crafted items. Only original art and limited edition work will be accepted. No food, mass-produced or commercial goods are allowed. Exhibitors will be selected based on a number of artistic attributes such as originality, creativity, and technique. There will be a limit on jewelers - only authentic, professional-quality jewelry, please.
Exhibitor Fees *Participating artists have the option to display both days for $150, or Saturday only for $100. *Each registered artist will be promoted on the ArtWalk website. *Your fee includes a 10x10 space. Artists may apply together and share a space. *All fees go directly to promotional and operational costs for the event. ArtWalk Ventura is run by an all-volunteer committee.
Promotion ArtWalk Ventura provides a platform for our artists, and we will do our best to promote you on social media. As an exhibiting artist, you should do all you can to market your work and the event to your followers and make yourself known.
Exhibitor Locations *Note: Artists wishing to be hosted by a participating business venue or gallery will be responsible for making arrangements independently. Fees, if any, will set by that venue. If you are interested in displaying in a business along the ArtWalk route, you may contact the ArtWalk committee at [email protected] for information on participating businesses.
*Accepted applicants not affiliated with a venue will be placed in one of the following adjacent locations: Mission Park, on E. Main St. across from the San Buenaventura Mission Outdoor, with evening fences and overnight security Saturday and Sunday Albinger Museum, 113 E. Main St. Outdoor, fenced with overnight security and possible storage within the museum Saturday and Sunday This area will be an artisan market to celebrate the history of the location. Set-up *You will need to bring your own set-up, including a 10x10 E-Z Up canopy, tables, easels, and/or grid walls. Your booth and display must be constructed to withstand crowds, sun, and wind. Exhibitors should be prepared for inclement weather. *Tables must be covered and table cloths drape to the ground so that no boxes or other items being stored under the table are visible. Please create a clean look for your display.
