By serendipity I have inadvertently documented the drought from the point of view of Lake Casitas using a tree as a specific harbinger of the drought. Not only have I been witness to the drought but have enjoyed a multitude of spectacular sunrises and moonsets. This exhibit has been shown as part of the “Cruel Season” show at the Ventura County Museum and “Waterworks II” at the Ojai Art Center and Porch Gallery. I hope to continue to record the reverse of this drought in the coming years.
