O’Kelly has worked and exhibited extensively in Europe, North and South America. In California he has created the ceramic facades for the Star Lounge, the Old Watermark, Cafe del Sauro. Paradise Pantry, the mural/fountain at Santa Barbara Zoo, El Jardin and El Andaluz, also in Santa Barbara. In addition Michael has designed and created many residential murals and fountains in Southern California.
This art walk is a rare opportunity to acquire several original works of art by O’Kelly and works of art from his private collection. These include paintings and drawing by the renowned Hollywood illustrator Joann Daley.
Michael will unveil his memorial bronze, honoring Miriam Schwab, and commissioned by VCC Foundation in November. His monumental 50 foot ceramic mural, located on Main Street, next to the Ventura Mission, was unveiled last year.
About The Venue
NAMBA is a 501c3 non-profit, performing arts space located in Ventura’s historic downtown arts district. The programming focus is on Culturally Relevant Stories that Serve Our Community.
