The Havana To Ventura Street Mural Project Is Underway- Get A Sneak Peak!

One of the projects we are most excited here at ArtWalk Ventura is the "Havana To Ventura" street mural at 50 W. Main Street.  A collaborative effort between local artists MB Hanrahan and Cuban painter Pedro Pulido, the mural has evolved from a series of sketches exchanged via email over the past year.

With the main event of ArtWalk 2015 just around the corner, work on the mural has begun!  As of right now MB is at the helm (Pulido is expected any day now)- the wall has been prepped and the first touches of paint are being applied.  A true community project, we've already seen guest artist Narci Lee and Vita Art Center's Kids Summer Class come by and lend a hand.
